I am excited to be participating in No Mud, No Lotus, a botanical exhibition inspired by Buddha Nature and Mother Nature, at Orangeland Gallery in San Francisco.

The exhibit was curated by artist and gallery owner Candace Loheed and runs from June 8 through July 14, 2018.

Orangeland Gallery is a charming space located at 1250 Mason Street (at Jackson) in the Nob Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. It is well worth a visit!

Opening Reception: Saturday, June 9, 2018, 4-8 PM

I am pleased to announce my work will be featured in Cardinal Planes, an exhibit at Gallery Korea at the Korean Cultural Center in New York, NY. The exhibit, which runs May 16 through July 6, 2018, features the works of fourteen artists, including June Kim, Amani Patel, Christina Massey, and myself. The works were chosen by art professionals like Ian Alteveer, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Cardinal Planes exhibit examines the directions, stances and postures taken by people within contemporary society and advances the cultural exchange that is central to the mission of the Korean Cultural Center.

The opening reception will be held Wednesday, May 16 from 6 to 8 pm at Gallery Korea, 460 Park Avenue, 6th Floor, New York, NY. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 pm. Please stop by to say hello!

I recently shipped new work to Page Bond Gallery in Richmond, VA. Richmond has a growing, dynamic art scene, and Page's gallery, opened in 1999, has played a vital role in promoting the arts in Richmond. There is a great exhibit showing at the gallery through the end of March with the work of Sarah Irvin and Julie Wolfe. Be sure to plan a visit to the Page Bond Gallery soon to see works like my painting shown here, Three Tulips (36 by 36 inches, Acrylic on panel).

The gallery is located at 1625 West Main Street in the Fan District of Richmond, VA.
