Continuing my interest in postcard art exhibits, I will be participating in Project: Postcard, a fundraising exhibit sponsored by the Department of Art at New Mexico State University. The proceeds from the show will benefit the NMSU Art Department and the D.W. Williams Hall Renovation, a renovation project turning a 1932 gymnasium into a 21st century art facility.

It promises to be a great show of 5X7 artworks. The postcard sale happens Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5 to 7pm, and the show will run from Oct 20 - 29. Gallery hours are Tue - Sat, 10 to 4.

Be sure to visit if you are in the area to show your support for the arts!

I am thrilled to be participating in the Athenaeum Invitational, an upcoming show at the Athenaeum in Old Town, Alexandria. The exhibit theme is inspired by the Cole Porter song from the 1930’s, “Don’t Fence Me In,” a heartfelt and sentimental paean to the great expanses of the wild west. I am lucky enough to be among the artists invited to participate in this great show celebrating the American West!

The Athenaeum is a historic venue in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria and home to the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association. The building is a gorgeous example of classical revival architecture, and it is well worth a visit! It is open Thurs. – Sun. afternoons.

The show will run from Sep 10 through Oct 25, 2015, with a reception on Sunday, September 13 at 4pm. It is sure to be interesting to see how all the other artists interpreted the "Don't Fence Me In" theme!

After requesting photos from people who have collected my work over the years, I was thrilled to receive many photos of my work hanging in the beautiful homes of clients across the country. What a treat it has been to look through the numerous photos that were generously offered in response to my query—and more are coming in all the time!

Pictured here: my painting, Llama, in a private client's living room in Baltimore, MD.

More images can be seen by clicking on Exhibits, then Installations, in the menu. If you'd like to add a photo of your home, feel free to email me an image!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me document my work thus far. I appreciate your sharing in this process!
